Leo Tolstoy

“When a person inflates his own importance, he does not see his own sins and his sin get bigger right along with him”

– Leo Tolstoy, who also wrote,

“An arrogant person considers himself perfect. This is the chief harm of arrogance. It interferes with a person’s main task in life—becoming a better person.”

This is so true, I have met quite a few narcissists, who really believe themselves to be perfect, and as years have gone by, they do not heal from this negativity but they are consumed with full negative chis. So true, and yet, so Sad.
